Our engineers perform predictions and assessments in the office, travel throughout the United States and abroad to perform compliance and diagnostic testing on ships.
NCE is looking for an entry-level, eager and talented candidate to perform acoustical and vibration design assessments, mitigation strategy development, and testing on ships and other marine structures. As an NCE engineer, you will perform computer modeling of noise and vibration using Statistical Energy Analysis, Finite Element Analysis, and other empirical methods. You will also have the opportunity to perform noise & vibration surveys while at sea and dockside, perform data reduction and analysis, and identify solutions to noise and vibration problems. You will be required to write reports, interact with clients, and write proposals that are clear, succinct, and effective.
