Gas Turbine Exhaust Stack
Near field noise measurements are used in the vicinity of a gas turbine exhaust stack at a gas processing plant. Combined with stack-top diameter and directivity information, the in-situ Sound Power Levels are calculated. The results are used for computer noise modeling. Noise control engineers work with plant design engineers and plant operations personnel, to provide silencer performance requirements. (HFP Acoustical Consultants)
