Collegiate Professor

The University of Nebraska – Lincoln Architectural Engineering Program, based in Omaha, Nebraska, is accepting applications for a tenured or tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.

We are interested in finding suitable candidates with expertise in at least one of the following building system areas: acoustics, energy efficient building systems (lighting, HVAC, electrical, renewable energy, and building envelopes), or structures.

Candidates should have a demonstrated potential for outstanding research and the promise of inspired teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a program of funded research in his or her area of expertise, including the advising of master’s and doctoral students. Candidates will be expected to engage in professional and community service, and to serve on department, college, and university-level governing bodies and committees. Candidates should have exceptional communication skills and a strong desire to work in a collaborative environment. Candidates must have an earned doctorate in Architectural Engineering or a related discipline. Professional registration or eligibility for professional registration is desirable.
