The Institute of Noise Control Engineering's Annual Conference
The 26th annual conference of the Institute of Noise Control Engineering, NOISE-CON 2010, will run concurrently with the 159th Meeting of the Acoustical Society on Monday through Wednesday (19-21 April 2010), culminating with the Closing Ceremony which will take place with the ASA Awards Ceremony on Wednesday afternoon (21 April 2010). The purpose of this conference is to join the overlapping interests in the two organizations. Many of the Noise and ASA Technical Committee Sessions will be part of the joint NOISE-CON & ASA conference; thus, forming an exciting and coherent program of noise control related sessions. Note, there will be one registration fee for both conferences. NOISE-CON 2010 participants are encouraged to take the opportunity to learn about some of the work being done in other areas of acoustics by attending the sessions taking place on Thursday and Friday (22-23 April 2010). Mike Lucas of Ingersoll Rand is the NOISE-CON 2010 General Chair. Courtney Burroughs, Noise Control Engineering Journal Editor is the technical program chair. There will also be an exposition of vendors of noise-control related materials, software and instrumentation as well as consulting companies. The exposition hours are Monday April 19 5:30-8:00pm, Tuesday April 20 9:00am-4:00pm, and Wednesday April 21 9:00am-12:00pm. There will be Plenary talks for Noise-Con 2010. Prior to the conference, there will be short courses, one on INCE Fundamental Exam Preparation, and others to be determined. Abstract and Registration Deadlines
